ERIC Systemwide Web Site Gets New Address
The URL for the ERIC Systemwide Web site has been changed to http://www.eric.ed.gov. The new URL conveys that the ERIC Systemwide Web site represents the whole ERIC system and that ERIC is a part of the U.S. Department of Education. The old URL (http://www.accesseric.org) will forward you to the new site until September 15.
Phonics Online
The ERIC Clearinghouse on Reading, English, and Communication is now offering a "Phonics Online" course on its Web site. Available to anyone with an interest in reading instruction, "Phonics Online" includes online workshop activities, sample classroom activities, parent activities, and numerous resources related to phonics instruction.
