The Virtual Reference Desk Project Announces....
The Virtual Reference Desk Project has announced the
Third Annual Virtual Reference Desk Conference. The conference theme is "Setting Standards and Making It Real." Conference topics include the following:
  • Technology for Digital Reference.
  • Digital Reference Service Management.
  • General Issues in Digital Reference.
  • Digital Reference Resources.
  • Standards for Digital Reference.
The conference will be held on November 12th and 13th in Orlando, Florida.

ERIC/CLL Language Link
The ERIC Clearinghouse on Languages and Linguistics (ERIC/CLL) has published the June 2001 issue of its quarterly, online newsletter, ERIC/CLL Language Link. This issue features an article about the services and resources available at the Center for Applied Linguistics Refugee Service Center.
