Counseling and Student Services Conferences
The ERIC Clearinghouse on Counseling and Student Services (ERIC/CASS) has announced two new conferences that it is presenting or sponsoring. Leading and Managing Comprehensive School Guidance Programs (previously known as "New Wave in Comprehensive School Guidance Programs"), the first advanced-level national training conference for Comprehensive School Guidance Program leaders, will be held in Greensboro (NC) from February 14–16, 2002. Careers Across America, which will take place in Chicago (IL) from July 7–10, 2002, will examine career development for all ages in all—but especially urban—settings. The ERIC Clearinghouse on Teaching and Teacher Education is offering a free curriculum guide for teacher educators to use with the Public Broadcasting System's new series School: The Story of American Public Education, which is scheduled to air this Fall. The curriculum guide is available on the PBS Web site.
