How do I search the ERIC database?
Recommended: View the ERIC Slide
Show . The Slide Show offers a user-friendly lesson in searching the ERIC database and
obtaining ERIC materials.
 |
You can begin a search using
selected fields . This will take you to a page where you can enter up to five search
terms. The default is set to search by keywords, but you can pull up this menu to select
"author," "title," or over a dozen other categories. |
|
 |
If you are still having trouble finding information on your topic, you can try the
Search Wizard. This search engine will help you find
ERIC descriptors for your search. ERIC descriptors are the terms used to index documents and
journal articles in the ERIC database. You can also call ACCESS ERIC at 800–LET–ERIC
(538–3742) for personalized assistance and a referral to an
ERIC clearinghouse that can
help you with your search. |
